Operations Analyst – Danbury, CT

Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary depending upon needs.

Pay Range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

Position Summary:

Interstate Waste Services/ Oak Ridge Waste & Recycling is looking for an Operations Analyst to join our team in Danbury, CT. The Operations Analyst will analyze organizational workflows and processes to recommend solutions to improve operational processes and overall business performance.

Essential Job Functions:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. 
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various operations, sales, and customer service data.
• Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in operational processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and challenges.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and performance metrics.
• Research market and industry trends and patterns.
• Develop workflows to increase production and revenue.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business, data management, operations research, or related field; Master’s degree in operations research or related field preferred.
• 2 years’ experience as an operations analyst, in an operation or research analyst role, or related position.
• Comfortable with database administration skills and resources
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Goal-oriented, organized team player
• Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
• Able to analyze data and statistics and translate results into better solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Pays strict attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interaction with all levels of management
