What happens when it snows?

With inclement weather fast approaching, our driveway service customers should be aware that there may be an increase in delayed pickups, as during the winter months, we rely on the driver’s discretion to enter a driveway. We prefer the driver practice caution, and if they feel that entering the driveway may pose a risk to either your property, the truck, or the driver, they may choose to not enter the driveway to complete the pick-up. If that does occur, we shall do our best to recover the pickup when it is safe to do so. Our trucks are big and heavy and are not four-wheel drive, so they are susceptible to snow and ice, especially on a steep or curvy drive. Please help our drivers out by making sure your driveway is as clear as possible.

What is the CRFEE?

The cost recovery fee is something that has been on our bill since April. It’s a fee that we had to add caused by the uncontrollable cost increases that we’ve seen caused by supply chain disruptions, as well as surcharges and fees on all the services that we utilize to run our business. It’s an adjustable fee that is designed to be adjusted if costs increase or decrease, but ultimately, it is a temporary fee designed to go away as the need for it wanes. The decision to raise or lower the fee is not arbitrarily made, but based on the index provided by the US Energy Information at https://www.eia.gov/ .

What is your holiday schedule?

Oak Ridge is closed in observance of 6 major holidays throughout the year. These holidays are: New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. During these weeks, the scheduled services will be delayed by a day.

What is our payment policy?

Oak Ridge bills quarterly, and payment is due upon receipt, and considered overdue after 30 days. If payment has not been received within 45 days, the account can be placed on a service hold until payment has been made. When service is restored after an interruption, we will resume service on your next scheduled pickup, and we will take any extra trash. If you need service before your next scheduled pick-up day, we may be able to arrange for a special pickup, however there will be an additional charge for that.

Where do I find my access code?

Your online bill pay access code is on your invoice under your total amount due at the top of the invoice.

How do I pay my bill online?

At the top of our website, you will see a button “pay bill”, click this and it will start the process of paying your bill online.
