Oak Ridge Waste and Recycling in Danbury, CT is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead our customer service team.
Monday thru Friday, and some Saturdays 1st Shift from 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
Pay is from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour.

The Call Center Supervisor is responsible for the performance of the Customer Service Representatives and its administrative functionality as well as the interaction with the operations and sales teams. In addition, contributing towards building, maintaining, and growing long-term relationships with existing and potential new clients.

Duties

  • Help monitor day to day and account maintenance of CSR’s.
  • Establishes and maintains open communication with operations and other department staff to provide a very high level of internal and external customer service.
  • Help maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction by participating in the development of creative solutions for our customers, including preventing and resolving customer service concerns in a timely manner.
  • Research and resolve complaints filed by customers through phone calls, emails, or other means of communication.
  • Work closely with the collections department and when necessary, help manage receivables of delinquent accounts.
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of market conditions and competitive trends to recognize and respond to changing customer needs in order to help ensure a satisfied customer base.
  • Help prepare timely and accurate call volume/metrics/activity reports.
  • Proactively communicate with or respond to customers to help develop and deliver successful pricing initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, and retain a high qualified group of individuals to participate as CSRs with call center.
  • Works full time including Saturdays after holidays and as the work requires.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a supervisory role within a customer service environment.
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in negotiating solutions that benefit both the company and the customer.
  • A solid background in customer service principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • A proactive approach to managing team dynamics and fostering collaboration among staff.
